Communications Sunday
Love cannot exist alone, it must communicate.
Essentially it is a reaching out to the other, an opening up to the other.
It unifies and ever gives birth to something new.
For love to be real, it has to arise from who we really are,
from that deep place of integrity.
And so Jesus prays for us:
“Consecrate them in the truth”
Truth, like Christ is an inexhaustible fountain.
It will challenge us.
We are all part of an unprecedented web of communication.
On this Communication Sunday we pray that all communication
comes from a true love for the common good, that integrity be at its root.
